My toy is missing! Sometimes when my toys and I play in the outside, they get way far away where I cannot see or smell them, and then it is up to me to find them.
I have the best nose for my toy of many chews, so it will be not a problem. I am a very great dog detective. I will solve the mystery!
The firstest and bestest thing to do in a mystery is to see if you have been sleeping on it all along. This is the best way to get clues. My bed is covered in hairy bits from my back, but it is not covered in evidence.
Now it is time to investimigate. I poke my sniffy nose into the big green leaf things, and I sniff and snuff all around. It is very good to check the same place many many times. That way a great dog detective can be so sure that the toy is not there. In this spot, all I see is plant stuff. Time for the great dog detective to check a new spot.
Oh boy! I have found a toy in this spot… but this one is not mine. That means there is another dog detective who has many needs of sniffing out this toy. It belongs to them, not me! It is a very nice toy. I hope the right dog detective comes along soon to take it home.
Sniff sniff sniff. The toy of sneaky squeakiness is much close to here, says my nose. My biggifier of eyes and leaves will help me to find it at last for sure.
I did it! I am a great dog detective and I found my sneaky squeaky toy. I was so good at looking and smelling with my sniffy nose, and I found it all very just by myself. Now I can play with it lots more. The mystery is all gone!
