Today, I was rolling in the clover, being a very good therapy dog for rolling, when a little voice shouted “Top o’ the Mornin’!” to me. There was a very small green man in the clover. He leapt onto my head to say hello, so I knew he was a leaper can, because he can leap.
The leaper can was so happy to see me rolling around in the green clover. Green is a very special color for leaper cans. He is trying to hide a pot o’ gold in something green before tomorrow, which is the Very Green Day of Leaper Cans. I am a very good hiding dog for pots o’ gold, so I said I would help. That made him happy, and he said I could have a Luck o’ the Irish for being a good dog of green hiding.
We went to the store and found all sorts of very good green items for hiding pots o’ gold. You can hide it under a chair, or you can wrap it in a hose. You can disguise it with a hat, or you can dig a hole and hide it under the clover. You can hide a leaper can in a water can, but not a pot o’ gold. This leaper can’s pot o’ gold was bigger than any of these things of green.
Maybe we can hide it under clothes. I can hide under clothes. This is a very lucky look for the Irish and for Smile Dogs. It is also good because wearing green keeps me safe from very pinchy people on the Very Green Day of Leaper Cans. But these clothes would not fit the pot o’ gold. We needed something really big and really green. I knew just the right place.
I took the leaper can into the green room of Smile TV and hid his pot o’ gold really soonly. No one will be able to find it in here. This made him very happy because we were just in time for the Very Green Day of Leaper Cans. He danced a jig in the green room of green. Then he gave me a Luck o’ the Irish.
A Luck o’ the Irish tastes a lot like my favorite kibble, which fills my tummy with smiles. I am very glad that I helped the leaper can find a place to hide his pot o’ gold and win a tasty Luck o’ the Irish. The leaper can said he would come to play with me again next year, and then he disappeared with a pop. I like leaper cans. And treats.
