One of my favorite things to do is to be a helper dog. Very good therapy dogs for humans are very good helpers with lots of things. I help Sandy all the time and I love helping.
I go get a ball for the human-people when they lose one and I greet the humans when they come through the door at Smile TV. I sit for puppies when their humans go to the store and I help Sandy with production and modeling shots. Cleaning up the good food off the floor when humans drop it is something that I am really good at doing too. That’s the best. It’s my favorite job.
Sandy has been so busy lately with the Contagious Optimism Live that I wanted to help clean the house. This is a new job I am learning how to do, and it tastes good. I found her “To-Do” list and started on it right away but now I can’t find it. I think I ate it. It is fun to eat.
I made a start by cleaning the floor. I have seen Sandy do this before so I knew what to do but it did not taste as good as the walls that you can see to the other side. So I tried to not use my tongue. This is not my favorite way to clean.
I never knew that there were so many new flavors on the walls that you can see through to the other side, and they have a great texture on my tongue. When I lick them enough, you can see through them way much more better.
There were tons of dishes in the sink. Humans eat a lot. I understand though. My tummy likes their food. I had to lick the dishes clean before they got to the sink. If the sink wasn’t so far away from me I could lick all the dishes clean in the sink but my tongue cannot reach.
Human-people have a lot of dishes, but even more of clothing. I’m happy to wear my fur although sometimes Sandy puts me in a clothing. But I wanted to help the clothing to smell clean. I watched it go round and round in the big gray ball. This ball was magic.
I like being a very good helper dog for humans. I hope Sandy is happy when she comes home. If she smiles I know my job is done. What do you like to clean? Let me know by leaving a comment or emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org!
